These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the insurance and protection services offered and distributed by 2Direct Ltd (“Coverion”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), UK-registered private limited company (Company No. 04763660) with address:  Oakwood House Overend, Elton, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, PE8 6RU.

By purchasing or using any insurance service distributed by Coverion, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Nature of Services

Coverion provides access to insurance products tailored for tradespeople, small businesses, and individuals. Our product offerings may include, but are not limited to:

  • Public Liability and Employers’ Liability insurance

  • Tools and Equipment insurance

  • Goods in Transit and Items-in-Vehicle protection

  • Commercial Motor and Professional Indemnity insurance

  • Embedded protection plans integrated into partner services

Coverion does not act as an insurer. All insurance products are underwritten by authorised insurance firms regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

3. Policy Acceptance and Coverage

The specific terms, conditions, exclusions, and coverage limits of each insurance product are outlined in the relevant Policy Schedule and Insurance Product Information Document (IPID) provided at the time of purchase.

It is your responsibility to review and ensure these documents meet your requirements prior to acceptance.

All cover is subject to acceptance by the underwriter and the information provided by you being complete and accurate.

 

4. Your Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide true, complete, and accurate information during the application process;

  • Promptly notify us of any changes that may affect your cover;

  • Review all documentation provided and comply with the terms of your policy;

  • Pay all premiums and associated fees by the due date.

Failure to comply may result in cancellation of your policy or a reduction in claim settlement.

 

5. Claims Process

All claims must be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided in your policy documentation.

Claims are handled directly by the insurer or their appointed claims handler.

Coverion may assist in facilitating communications but is not responsible for claim outcomes.

Delays in reporting claims or failure to provide required documentation may affect your entitlement to benefits.

 

6. Cancellation and Cooling-Off Period

You have the right to cancel your insurance policy within 14 days of receiving your documentation (the “cooling-off period”).

You will receive a full refund unless you have made a claim or the cover has already started.

After this period, cancellation terms will follow the conditions outlined in your specific policy schedule, and fees or partial refunds may apply.

 

7. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any part of our service, please contact us using the details below. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it fairly and efficiently.

If you remain dissatisfied, you may refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Coverion excludes all liability for:

  • Losses that are indirect, special, or consequential;

  • Business interruption, reputational damage, or loss of income;

  • Any errors resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.

Our total liability shall be limited to the value of the services provided by Coverion directly and shall not extend to the fulfilment of insurance benefits, which are the responsibility of the underwriter.

 

9. Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data.

Any data collected or processed by Coverion is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

 

10. Amendments to Terms

Coverion reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.

Any material changes will be notified via email or through our website.

Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
